Key Points & Eligibility:
- Bangladeshi citizens do need a visa in advance to visit the UK.
- You apply online, then attend a Visa Application Centre (VFS Global in Bangladesh) for submitting documents & giving biometric information.
- You can apply up to 3 months before your travel date.
Process:
- Online application via the UK government “Standard Visitor Visa” service.
- Fill out required information: travel dates, accommodation, purpose etc.
- Pay the visa fee (the appropriate one for the kind of visa and duration) online.
- Book appointment with VFS Global in Bangladesh to submit documents + biometrics (fingerprints + photo).
- Attend visa appointment with all required documents; originals + photocopies, translations if needed.
